“Carina really used her professional
eye to create an office design that was
cohesive and beautiful. She completely
understood my style and what I
wanted – I love my office!!”
“I couldn’t recommended Carina more
highly. She has been absolutely
precise with all all parts of the project.
It’s amazing seeing how the process of
redesigning my home was way less
stressful than I thought.”
“I can’t say enough good things about
Carina. Her process from A to Z was
excellent. She always took time to
understand my lifestyle, and designed
it perfectly!”
“Carina had such a great sense of my style from the beginning, she elevated it with creative ideas and really great pieces my would have never chosen on our own!”
“My dining room was just too poorly designed with a lot of wasted space. Carina completely transformed it into something I could actually use.”
“I always struggle to nail down my style. Working with Carina took the guesswork out of design and made the process simple, efficient, and fun.”
“The most amazing part of the whole process was how much Carina and her team took care of everything. The brief was so well done that she remembered everything I had mentioned since our first meeting. I had always heard that projects are stressful, and I never imagined one could be as smooth as this one was.”
“When we hired Carina, we knew she was the right person. It’s essential to have someone you connect with in every way to design your home. It needs to be a good match. Besides the beautiful project that we’re delighted with, she has become our designer for life. We’ve already hired her for two other properties, and she’s now part of the family.”
“I bought this apartment just as an investment, but I needed to remodel it. Every time I see the before and after, I’m impressed. Carina isn’t just an expert in design; she’s also one of the most fun people to be around and makes the process seem easy.”
“I have to confess that I was hesitant to hire a designer because I have strong opinions about what I like. Carina not only made my wishes come true, but her professionalism went beyond my expectations. I never had to call or ask for anything; her follow-up and organization are incredible.”
You know, I hate it when you visit an “about” page and still have no idea who that person really is. So let’s not do that. Here’s a bit more about me.
I started my career pretty young. I didn’t know much about interior design, but I had good taste, and I thought that would be enough. Poor girl—I had no idea what was coming.
I began as an intern in 2009, and from there, I was always on the move—switching firms because I constantly craved more. More challenges, more experience (and let’s be honest, more money). That drive is what eventually brought me to the U.S. I needed to see new things—design, art, and life in general. But, to be honest, moving out of Brazil wasn’t on my radar at first. How was that going to work when I didn’t even speak the language?
Fast forward to today, 9 years later, and here I am—after working with some of the best design studios in Brazil, Los Angeles, and Dallas. Oh, and yes, I learned the language (pretty well, if I do say so myself). It wasn’t easy, and I’m still proud of myself—even though I still struggle saying “world” (I usually say “earth” instead because, well, life’s about finding solutions, right?).
After experiencing so many different cultures, design styles, and ways of working, I realized it was time to take everything I’d learned and go solo. I won’t sugarcoat it—it was a big leap. But I had already specialized in curating furniture and decor, and I had worked on large-scale projects from start to finish. I knew I had more to offer.
What became crystal clear to me wasn’t just the type of projects or clients I wanted to work with, but the kind of experience I wanted us to share. I’m direct, I work with a well-organized system, and I don’t confuse clients with vague words like “enhance” or “bespoke.” If you’re on board with that, we’ll probably work great together. If not? Well, maybe not—but I’m always upfront about it.
So, if you’re looking for a modern interior designer who knows how to curate beautiful furniture and create a space that’s uniquely yours, you’re in the right place. Let’s make something amazing together.
